Audrey Alverta (Myers) Ensor (98) from New Oxford, PA entered Heaven after she passed peacefully at her loving daughter’s home in Florida on April 24, 2026. She was a cherished mother, grammy and friend. Her presence and hugs will be missed by all.

Audrey was born on April 23, 1928 to Roy and Elizabeth Myers in Chicago, Illinois. She moved to PA where she attended & graduated from East Berlin High School, was employed as a secretary for the Pennsylvania government & soon married the love of her life, Earl. They enjoyed many adventures together from riding motorcycles to spending summers at the ocean. Game shows, crafts, crossword books and card games attributed to her sharp wit and memory. Through the years she was a seamstress, factory worker, record keeper and caregiver, but her role as matriarch of the Ensor family was unrivaled. She poured love, advice, strength and prayers into the lives of her children, grandchildren and friends. Her smile, hugs & determined spirit encouraged all who knew her.

Audrey is survived by a son, William Ensor (Helen) of New Oxford; daughter Doris Cole (Greg) of Biglerville; daughter Gail Ensor of Daytona Beach, Fl; son, Paul Ensor (Lori) of New Oxford; and son, John Ensor (Chris) of Fayetteville and grandchildren; Pamela, Linda, Audra, Tyler, Emily, Jason, Kelly, Katlyn, Kerri, Jonathan, Marianna, Josh, and Porsche; step grandchildren; Mike, Mark, Marlin, Rodney, Bobby, Julie, Laurie, Eric, Greg, Roxie, Rhonda, Shannon, Doug & Jeff; 42 great grandchildren, 41 great-great grandchildren, 2 great-great-great grandchildren and numerous grand fur babies. She was preceded in death by husband Earl E. Ensor, parents, Roy & Elizabeth Myers, brother, Roy W. Myers; stepchildren Earl Ensor Jr. (Mary), Rose Davis (Bill), Ed Ensor (Betty dec.), Fred Ensor (Lorraine), Nancy Scott (Ken dec) & step granddaughter Christine (Davis) Heller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Audrey’s Celebration of Life at Feiser Funeral & Cremation Care, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, PA on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
