IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew A.
Karabinos
April 6, 2005 – July 15, 2022
Andrew A. Karabinos, Jr, 17, died Friday, July 15, 2022 at WellSpan York Hospital following injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was the son of Nicole A. (Garguilo) Rohrbaugh and her husband Scott of East Berlin and Andrew A. Karabinos, Sr. and his wife April of NJ.
Andrew was born April 6, 2005 in Long Branch, NJ.
Andrew attended Bermudian Springs High School, and would have been a Senior this coming semester. Andrew was a Junior Fireman with North East Adams Fire and EMS, station #32 in East Berlin, and a member of York Springs Fire Company #1. Andrew was employed with McDonalds in New Oxford for over 4 years. He was very proud to be part of an early enlistment program to join the U.S.M.C., working with his recruiter, Sgt. Vest in taking his final tests and oath. Andrew was a huggable, well mannered, loveable son, brother, and friend. The bond he had with his friends was amazing to watch. It didn't matter if you weren't blood. Blood doesn't make a family. Love did!
In addition to his mother Nicole, step-father Scott, and his father Andrew, Sr, Andrew is survived by 7 sisters, Caitlyn Rohrbaugh, Jenna Copenhaver, Samantha Karabinos, Madison Rohrbaugh, Haley Karabinos, Bianca Karabinos and Autumn Rohrbaugh, 3 brothers, Colton Rohrbaugh, Aiden Karabinos and Austin Rohrbaugh, a brother-in-law, Gavin Copenhaver, paternal grandparents, Bruce and Marie Karabinos of NJ, a grandmother, Donna Rohrbaugh, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents Joan and Frank Garguilo, and grandfather Clayton Rohrbaugh, Jr.
