Obituary

Adam T. Becker, 39, passed Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Adam was born January 2, 1983, in Hanover, the son of Jody L. (Hartlaub) Becker of Hanover, and Thomas E. Becker of East Berlin.

Adam loved hunting, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State fan.  He was employed since 2010 at Johnson Controls Navy Systems in York, was a former firefighter with United Hook & Ladder #33, and was a member of Brooklyn Gun Club in Ulysses.

In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by a daughter, Ashton T. Becker of York, his dog, Remi, a brother, Cody M. Becker and his wife Jordan of Spring Grove, a nephew, Canton M. Becker of Spring Grove, a niece, Wrynn E. Becker of Spring Grove, his grandmother, Erma L. Becker of Hanover, and aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Edward Becker, and his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Beverly Hartlaub.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 100 E. Water St, Abbottstown, with Rev. Shawn Berkebile officiating.  A visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11 AM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to a college fund set up for his daughter C/O Ashton T. Becker, 830 Locust Grove Rd, York, PA 17402.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
