Thomas E.” Tom” Nicholas, 68, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at his home.
Tom was born October 30, 1949 in York, PA, the son of the late Lloyd W. and Veronica (Shaughnessy) Nicholas.
Tom was the owner of Dylan’s Bar and Grill in East Berlin for over 20 years. During his life, Tom owned multiple restaurants, namely, Jackie B’s, Squires Pub, Brothers 3, Countryside, and Nicholas’s Pub. He enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay with his family and friends. Tom was a member of the Baltimore Yacht Club for over 17 years.
Tom is survived by two daughters, Natalie L. Rice and her husband Rick of York, and Judy Miller and her husband Troy of York, three grandchildren, Chase Rice, Lucas Miller, and Nicholas Miller, two brothers, Timothy Nicholas and his wife Debby of Fl., and Terrance Nicholas and his wife Lois of York. He was predeceased by a grandson, Dylan Gross.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 5 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Harrisburg St., East Berlin. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 PM until the time of the service. The Feiser Funeral Home, Inc.
