Thelma M. (Jones) Mahone

Thelma M. (Jones) Mahone, 88, of Hanover, died Friday, March 16, 2018 in Spring Grove. She was the wife of Joseph F. Mahone, her husband of 67 years.

Thelma was born November 3, 1929 in Chester Co., PA, the daughter of the late Newlin and Dora (Lee) Jones.

Thelma was employed with Wise Market for over 42 years, enjoyed being an artist and caring for her beloved dog “Toby”.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, Thelma is survived by two daughters; Susan K. Yost of Wellsboro, and Kimberly Marshall and her husband Harry, of Gettysburg, five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one brother, Frances Jones of Mt. Joy, and one sister, Barbra Smith, of Ravenswood, WV. She was predeceased by a son, Stewart Mahone, two brothers; Robert and James Jones, and a grandson, John Wayne Marquet.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc. 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, is in charge of the arrangements.
