Mildred R. (Resser) Rauscher, 97, of New Oxford died Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of the late Harry C. Rauscher, who died in 1991.
Mildred was born April 4, 1920, in Delaware Co., PA, the daughter of the late Jacob and Ruth (Evans) Resser.
Mildred was a member of the Audubon Society, and the Faith Community at The Brethren Home, where she was also an active volunteer. She was an avid gardener and artist.
Mildred is survived by a son, Harry C. Rauscher, Jr, and his wife Debra of York, and two nieces, Siretta (Siri) Godfrey of VA, and Reba (Becki) Dodd of Va.
Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St, York, PA 17401. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
