On Thursday, January 10, 2019, Mary Hanley went to be with her Lord at the age of 91 years, two days shy of her 92nd birthday.
Mary, born and raised in Vineland, New Jersey, worked for the E.I. du Pont de Nemours Company throughout her professional life until the time of her retirement. She was a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for approximately 68 years. Mary resided in the East Berlin – Hanover area for about 20 years before moving to an assisted living facility in Christiansburg, Virginia for the past 3 years.
Mary will be forever remembered by her nephews Daniel W. Hanley, Kenneth D. Lore, Milton D. Lore, and Kenneth’s two daughters Jennifer and Michelle. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hanley, her father and mother, Stephano and Teresa Terranova, her sisters Maria Terranova, Vitina Terranova and Rose Lore.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., at The Feiser Funeral Home, 306 Harrisburg Street, East Berlin, with Rev. James Keaton presiding. Friends of Mary may visit with the family at 1:00 p.m. just prior to the service.
Mary will be laid to rest, immediately following the memorial service, at the Red Run Church Cemetery, 6623 Davidsburg Road, East Berlin.
Memorial donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Evangelical Church of the Brethren missions fund, 925 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331.
