Larry J. Grim

Larry J. Grim, 84, died Saturday, January 19, 2019, at his residence.  He was the husband of Judith M. “Judy” (Spencer) Grim, his wife of 61 years.

Larry was born October 2, 1934, in Abbottstown, the son of the late Claude and Annie (Hoke) Grim.

Larry was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dover.

In addition to his wife Judy, Larry is survived by his children, Jay A. Grim and Rebecca A. Grim, both of Abbottstown, Pamela K. Hansford and her husband Ron of Hanover, Julie C. Wheeler and her husband Gary of East Berlin, and Bradley K. Grim of Thomasville, eight grandchildren, Jason Grim, Bridgette Brandt, Jayme Wagner, Austin Grim, Addison Wheeler, Hunter Grim, Aaryn Wheeler, and Alijah Wheeler, four great grandchildren, Jordan Grim, Braden Brandt, Payten Grim, and Kathryn Brandt, a sister, Carolyn Madeira, and two brothers, Rodger Grim and George Grim.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Charles Grim, Kathryn Eisenhart, Burnell Grim, Merle Grim, Claude Grim, Jr, Marion Mummert, and Donald Grim.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at 10:30 AM at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 5005 Carlisle Rd, Dover, with Rev. Dr. Sterling Walsh, II officiating.  Burial will be private.  A viewing will be held on Monday from 6-8 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 306 Harrisburg St, East Berlin.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
