Joseph Pirozzi Obituary

Joseph P. Pirozzi, 73, died Saturday, September 14, 2019, at his residence.  He was the husband of Marilyn J. (Allen) Pirozzi, his wife of 19 years.

Joe was born November 22, 1945, in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Joseph A. and Julia (Capone) Pirozzi.

Joe was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in New Oxford, the New York Traffic Club, where he served on the board of directors, was an avid golfer, and loved to cook and travel.

In addition to his wife Marilyn, Joe is survived by a son, Mike A. Vanderpool and his wife Dara of Hanover, six grandchildren, Nicholas, Mitchell, Grace, Bailey, Gavin and Reed, and a niece, Kim Iversen Irwin of San Diego, CA.  He was predeceased by a sister, Maryjane Galicki.

Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 106 Carlisle St, New Oxford, 17350 on Monday, October 28th at 10:00 AM.  A celebration of life luncheon will be held after mass at 11:30 AM at the Hanover Country Club, 200 Water St. Abbottstown,  PA 17301.  Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, or to Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Rd, Ste C, York, PA 17402.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
