John T. Farley, 71, of Hanover, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his home. He was the husband of Barbara “Barb” (Laughman) Farley, his wife of 47 years.
John was born July 14, 1946, the son of Beatrice (Wallet) Farley of Hanover and the late Ernest J. Farley.
John was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Broadway in Hanover. He retired from Hanover Terminal in Hanover after working there for many years. John was an avid collector of antiques and enjoyed going to auctions, woodworking projects, fishing and roller skating.
In addition to his wife Barb, John is survived by a son, Todd A. Farley, a daughter, Tammy L. Farley, both of Hanover, three brothers, Ernest Farley and his wife Brenda, Michael Farley and his wife Ann, and Patrick Farley, all of Hanover, and one sister, Barbara Hare and her husband Joseph of East Greenville.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1214 Broadway, Hanover, with the Rev. Larry A. McConnell officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Hanover. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of service.
