Harriet Hartzell Obituary

Harriet E. (Stimer) Hartzell, 86, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.  She was the wife of the late Harold D. Hartzell, her husband of 53 years, who died January 7, 2003.

Harriet was born July 18, 1931, in Hanover, the daughter of the late Harvey W. and Arlene N. Stimer.

Harriet was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in New Chester

Harriet is survived by a son, Allen J. Hartzell and his wife Angie of York Springs, two daughters, Angela M. Highland and Alicia K. Wooters and her husband Clarence of New Oxford, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a brother, Harvey Stimer of Hampton, and a sister, Jo Small of New Oxford.  She was predeceased by a sister, Peam Stimer.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018, at 11 AM, at Hampton Union Cemetery, with Rev. Douglas C. Hahn officiating.  There will be no viewing.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s U.C.C., 2243 Hunterstown-Hampton Rd, New Oxford, PA  17350.  Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, is in charge of arrangements.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
