Georgette "Memere" (Dutech) Woolsey, 98, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at The Brethren Home Community. She was the wife of the late Warren J. Woolsey, who died November 2, 1993.
Georgette was born August 29, 1919, in Paris, France, the daughter of the late Georges and Berthe (Langlet) Dutech.
Georgette was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Hanover, and was known for her hospitality, social gatherings and walk through gardens.
Georgette is survived by two daughters, Dr. Nicole W. Biggart and her husband Dr. Richard Williams of Davis, CA, and Danielle W. Garber and her husband Tom of New Oxford, three grandchildren, Lindsey Wagner and her husband Larry of Manheim, Laura Garber-Muth and her husband Adam of Altamonte Springs, FL, and Scott W. Biggart of Brooklyn, NY, and two great grandchildren, Alyssa and Evan Wagner.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 11 AM, at the Nicarry Meeting House of The Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, with Rev. Dr. Nelson Strobert officiating. A visitation will be held at the meeting house on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
