Frederick Gallagher Obituary

Frederick E. Gallagher, 81, died Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Pleasant Acres Nursing Home.

Frederick was born December 7, 1937, in Hanover, the son of the late Clarence J. and Elizabeth M. (Kopp) Gallagher.

Frederick was a member of Sacred Heart Basilica in Edgegrove.

Frederick is survived by six sisters, Mary L. Ensor of East Berlin, Phyllis M. Miller of Hanover, Sylvia A. Riser of Hanover, Patricia M. Gallagher of Shrewsbury, Grace I. Baral of New Oxford, and Donna M. Dahr of Davenport, FL, and two brothers, Joseph F. Gallagher and Benjamin J. Gallagher, both of Hanover.  He was predeceased by a sister, Jane E. Sager.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 10 AM, at Sacred Heart Basilica, 30 Basilica Dr, Hanover, with Rev. Joseph R. Howard as Celebrant.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with prayers at 8 PM.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
