Eric L. Johnson

Eric L. Johnson, 50, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Karin L. Blevins, his wife of 4 years.

Eric was born December 24, 1967 in Honolulu, HI, the son of Chuck and Phyllis (Cox) Johnson, of San Antonio, TX.

Eric was a Street Stock Car Racer on dirt tracks for 25 years, winning many trophies at Winchester, Potomac, Hagerstown, Trail-way speedways, and more locations. Eric was a member of the York Co. Racing Club, and a heavy duty mechanic for Conewago Enterprises for 4 years. Eric enjoyed his trips to Kansas to visit the family farm and go fishing with his wife.

In addition to his wife Karin, and parents, Eric is survived by his sister, Lorie Johnson of San Antonio, TX, his In-Laws, Henry and Kathie Blevins of Westminster, MD, two brothers-in law, Mike Blevins and his wife Jen of Sykesville, MD and CB Blevins and his wife Michelle of                   Finksburg, MD, three nephews, two nieces, and his Kansas family.                         

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018, at 5PM, at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held at the funeral home, Sunday, from 1 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Eric’s name, may be sent to York Co. Racing Club Injured Drivers Fund, 586 Yale St., York, PA. 17403.
