"Gene" Reynolds, 85, of Gettysburg, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Meadows at Gettysburg Nursing Home.  

Gene was born September 20, 1931 in Winchester, VA., the son of the late Carroll A. and Edith N. (Renner) Reynolds.

Gene held life memberships in; New Oxford Athletic and Social Club, Gettysburg Fraternal Order of Eagles #1562, and McSherrystown Moose #720. Gene was a farmer most of his life and employed with the Oxford Container Co, where he retired in 1995.  

Gene is survived by one brother, Arland L. Reynolds of New Oxford, one nephew, Harold A. Reynolds and his wife Tina, of New Oxford, one niece, Robin O. Seifert and her husband Jack, of New Oxford, one great nephew, Andrew L. Reynolds, of New Oxford, three great nieces; Amber DiMarco of Everett, WA, Alexa Reynolds of Charleston, SC, and Kathryn Seifert of Bendersville, PA. He was predeceased by a nephew, Tim Reynolds, a sister-in-law, Rose Reynolds, and a great nephew, Jeremiah Seifert.

There will be no visitation or services. Following cremation, a private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway west, New Oxford, is in charge of the arrangements. Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
