Barbara J. (Parketon) Ulrich, 85, of York Springs, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Hanover Hospital.  She was the wife of George R. Ulrich, II, who died March 19, 2013.

Barbara was born September 9, 1932, in Hesperia, MI, the daughter of the late Sidney B. and Gladys (Dewitte) Parketon.

Barbara was a beautician for many years, and was a member of Harvest Chapel in Abbottstown, the East Berlin V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and the American Legion in Gettysburg.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Sherri L. Ulrich-Davis and her husband Rodney of York Springs, and Lisa M. Wedlock and her husband Larry of Red Lion, two sons, James A. Dow and his wife Kim of Hesperia, MI, and Timothy A. Dow of Freemont, MI, nine grandchildren, Jennifer Dow, Karie Schlaske, Erin Dow, Ryan Dow, Austin Davis, Bryce Davis, Kirsten Davis, Logan Wedlock and Lakyn Wedlock, 12 great grandchildren, a brother, Jack Parketon of KS, and two sisters, Dolores Hill of FL, and Dona Sabin of OH.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara E. Dow, two granddaughters, Amyee Tanis and Shelley Dow, two brothers, Sidney and Larry Parketon, and three sisters, Leone Scheidegger, Edith Look and Joy Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 3 PM at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 PM until the time of the service.  Burial will be private.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
