M. Helen (Novitsky) Strimatis

M. Helen (Novitsky) Strimaitis, 93, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Manor Care Carlisle.  She was the wife of the late Vito E. Strimaitis, who died in 1985 

Helen was born December 22, 1923, in Minersville, PA.

Helen was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Abbottstown, and loved bingo and spending time with her grandchildren having tea parties.

Helen is survived by a son, Vito E. Strimaitis, Jr, of Carlisle, a daughter, Sally A. Becker of Pittsburgh, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Shuff.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017, at 2 PM, at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc, 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Rev. Charles M. Persing officiating.  Burial will be private.  A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, from 12:30 PM until the time of the service.  Memories may be shared at www.feiserfuneralhome.com.
